The International Living Future Institute™ announced last night the recipients of its 2013 Living Building Challenge™ Heroes Award. The new Heroes were recognized at the Institute’s Big Bang Dinner, part of its annual Living Future unConference.
Oregon BEST and the International Living Future Institute today announced the four finalists in their Red List Design Challenge, which carries $15,000 in cash prizes and was launched to foster development of non-toxic building products and launch new Oregon companies.
The Big green Greenhouse Design Competition attracted submissions from around the world for a project to be located in Snohomish County, Washington. SnoLeaf Branch Collaborative of Cascadia Green Building Council announced the top three winning designs at The International Living Future unConference in Seattle May 15th. This ½ day workshop will explore ideas, provide technical study data and help inform future direction for engineers of all disciplines to take an active role in the design of sustainable buildings
