Net Positive Water – How do we get there?
Humans can’t live for more than a week without water and yet our society has not taken adequate precautions to plan, design and build structures that embrace the latest thinking or technologies for water conservation. It’s easy in Portland, OR to develop ‘water-laziness’ as our region is blessed with an abundance of rivers, lakes, rain and ground water; however shifting climates and environmental degradation continues to negatively impact our sources. Our panel will help you understand the current state of water codes in Portland, provide you tools to make positive change, highlight some success stories, and introduce you to a Water Restoration initiative.
