As Education Coordinator, Brittney provides a wide range of coordination tasks for the development and delivery of the Institute’s educational offerings. She draws from her building arts background and experience as a sustainability strategist to galvanize transformative change within the building sector.
Brittney’s interest in how spaces affect people compelled her to earn a B.F.A. in Interior Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design. After an eye-opening volunteer experience building a straw-bale home on the Northern Cheyenne reservation in Montana, she returned to SCAD to complete a Master’s degree in Design for Sustainability.
Brittney serves on the Board of Directors for the Ethnic Heritage Council of the Pacific Northwest and volunteers with United Way of King County as a part of their Emerging Leaders group. Her favorite thing to do is eat lunch outside.
