Priya Premchandran leads the [e]Team Design and Construction Program for the Google Real Estate Workplace and Services (REWS).She was part of the Google Chicago Renovation project that is a Petal Certified Project. She is responsible for the integration of Google’s values and priorities around sustainability, user experience and human health on design and construction projects to deliver healthy and high performing workplaces. With over a decade of experience, Priya brings a strong technical background and an in-depth understanding of critical issues related to indoor environmental quality impacting both building performance and human health in the built environment. Since joining Google in 2014, she has also been managing Google’s healthy materials program and is responsible for the strategy as well as building processes and tools to support implementation across its global portfolio. Priya has a bachelors degree in Architecture and masters degree in Architectural Engineering. She is also involved with numerous industry leading organizations such as Health Product Declaration Collaborative, US Green Building Council and Living Building Collaborative advocating for policies and initiatives supporting a healthy and restorative built environment for the future.
