As the Senior Manager of Materials at Living Future, Forest assists in delivering positive customer experiences and support during the Declare and Living Product Challenge certification processes.

Originally from Colorado, Forest moved to Michigan while they earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Sustainability through Arizona State University with a focus on supply chain management, environmental policy, and urban resiliency. Forest previously worked in customer-facing positions where they embraced the policy of assuming positive intent, helping them develop many lasting relationships. While finishing their degree, Forest also worked on sustainability initiatives locally, such as proposing a local green wall, implementing waste reduction measures at work, and participating in clean-up projects.

In their free time, Forest can typically be found enjoying the company of their chickens and dogs. When the weather allows, they can be found hiking or paddleboarding around Lake Michigan with their son. And when the weather is extreme, Forest is often building Legos with their son or reading the newest book recommendation from their local bookstore.
