Gayathri Unnikrishnan is the Founder and CEO of Liveable, a social sustainability innovation studio focused on turning intention into defensible proof in the built environment. Her work centers on Social Sustainability Proof: helping real estate, architecture, and manufacturing leaders move beyond scattered initiatives toward impact strategies that are measurable, decision-grade, and built to withstand board-level scrutiny. Her collaboration with Living Future on the Declare Equity pilot program, focused on labor transparency and equity in global materials sourcing, is one example of that work in practice. Previously, as VP of Standard Development at IWBI, she led the creation of WELL v2 , now shaping health and equity outcomes across 4 billion square feet in 125 countries. That experience showed her where the next frontier lies: making social sustainability as measurable and scalable as environmental performance.
