Julia Farber

Circular Economy Advocacy Manager, Global Head of Standards

Julia Farber is a Circular Economy Advocacy Manager and the Global Head of Standards at Eastman, where she participates in several international and national standards committees related to the circular economy, recycling, composting, waste management, LCA, environmental claims, chain of custody and building and construction on behalf of Eastman, and coordinates with other committees to provide technical expertise on related topics. In the past, she was a sustainability manager at Legrand, helped launch UL Environment, was an LCA consultant, an internal DEI and small business consultant to Google, and worked on the Obama for America campaign in 2008. She has also served on several board, including the CTGBC Board.

Originally from Michigan, Julia graduated with a Bachelor degree in political science from the University of Michigan and has a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University.

In her personal time, Julia is an art lover and outdoors enthusiast. She enjoys kayaking, hiking, bird watching, museums, cultural events, art gallery openings, comedy and connecting people to the sustainability movement.
