Maria is a Senior Manager in Sustainability and Impact at HMTX Industries. In her role, she is tasked with environmental, social, governance reporting and is part of the Sustainability, Transparency, Impact and Community team.

Maria gained experience in diversity & inclusion and corporate social responsibility at Nielsen. She was involved in diversity policies, ERG participation, and organizing global social responsibility campaigns. She was a director of grantmaking for The Nielsen Foundation and supported nonprofits who’s mission is access to education, and advancement of diversity and representation in business with a focus on technology.

In addition to employee engagement, volunteering, and CSR, Maria was responsible for Nielsen’s ESG reporting. She gained experience in publishing reports, human rights policies and practices. She brings that knowledge to her role at HMTX.

Maria has a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in History from Columbia University and is certified in Corporate Citizenship Practices from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College.
