Senior Sustainability Project Manager, JLL
Uma serves as a Senior Sustainability Project Manager with JLL’s Project and Development Services team in Pittsburgh. Uma possesses in-depth knowledge of various green building rating systems, including LEED, WELL, WELL HSR, Fitwel, and Living Building Challenge. Her responsibilities at JLL include providing strategic sustainability consulting and developing ESG roadmaps for diverse portfolio of clients.
In her previous job, Uma performed LEED reviews as a third-party verifier for GBCI. In addition, she spearheaded the certifications effort for the company headquarters and helped achieve 2-stars Fitwel certification, Materials Petal certification under Living Building Challenge v4.0, and Just 2.0 label.
Uma holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from University of Mumbai, India and a Masters in Sustainable Design degree from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. In her personal time, Uma enjoys traveling, hiking, and reading.
