Dominique Hes
Principal, Geronimo Advisory
Dominique Hes brings a blend of scientific rigour, creative design thinking, and governance insight to the challenge of leading for a thriving future. With degrees in Science, Engineering, and Architecture, and a Certificate in Governance, she combines systems thinking with hands-on experience in shaping purposeful projects.
Dominique began seeding the idea of regenerative development in Australia from 2005, after seeing the limitations of mechanic approaches. She focuses on real projects showing how a living approach can create a flourishing outcome. This led to the development of Regenerative Placemaking through Place Agency and contributions to The Paddock (27 homes whose measure is bringing back 5 focal species), various community and industry regenerative organisations.
She serves as Chair of Greenfleet and as Voice of Nature on the board of Regen Melbourne, and has previously was one of the founders of the Living Future Institute Australia, Trustee at Trust for Nature and contributed to the National Circular Economy Ministerial Advisory Group.
An award-winning educator, researcher, and author of seven books, Dominique has spent over 30 years empowering people and organisations to design for regeneration — fostering leadership that aligns people, place, and purpose.
