Vice President, Market Transformation
Jaime Van Mourik is a strategic leader, educator, and advocate dedicated to achieving a zero-carbon, regenerative built environment for all. As Vice President of Market Transformation at Living Future, Jaime spearheads initiatives to scale restorative design and accelerate the global shift toward buildings that give back more than they take.
A veteran of both federal policy and nonprofit leadership, Jaime has spent her career bridging the gap between high-level sustainability goals and actionable market solutions. Prior to her work at the DOE, Jaime was Vice President of Education Solutions at the U.S. Green Building Council. There, she transformed how the industry engages with sustainability, creating global pathways for professional credentials and leading colleges and universities through the planning and implementation of LEED standards in teaching, research, and practice.
Jaime holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Virginia Tech and a Master’s in Architectural History from the University of Virginia. Outside of her work at the Institute, she remains active in the field as a part-time instructor and serves as a volunteer on two building industry boards.
