Executive Assistant to the CEO
Josh Thomas (he/him) is the Executive Assistant to the CEO at Living Future, where he provides thoughtful administrative and organizational support to keep day-to-day priorities on track. He’s proud to contribute to Living Future’s mission of advancing a socially just and ecologically restorative future.
Josh brings over 20 years of experience in administrative and people-focused roles. He spent nearly a decade at an architecture firm, where he started as a Project Administrator, and later transitioned into Human Resources. Over the course of eight years in HR, he served in several roles from HR Coordinator to JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion) & Talent Specialist. In these roles, he supported inclusive hiring, internal equity initiatives a,nd employee experience programs. During that time, he also co-led the firm’s Just Label program, helping integrate social justice and equity principles into their work. Earlier in his career, he spent 12 years as an Executive Assistant across several industries, developing a strong foundation in organizational support and relationship-building. He also holds an Associate Professional in Human Resources (aPHR) certification.
Josh is guided by a people-first mindset and a deep belief in the power of thoughtful, behind-the-scenes work. He values collaboration, clear communication, and cultivating environments where people feel connected and supported.
Outside of work, Josh enjoys photography, going to concerts, and spending time with friends. He lives with his husband and their dog, and they love heading out on adventures together whenever they can.
