Senior Sustainability Project Manager, JLL


Uma serves as a Senior Sustainability Project Manager with JLL’s Project and Development Services team in Pittsburgh. Uma possesses in-depth knowledge of various green building rating systems, including LEED, WELL, WELL HSR, Fitwel, and Living Building Challenge®. Her responsibilities at JLL include providing strategic sustainability consulting and developing ESG roadmaps for diverse portfolio of clients.

In her previous job, Uma performed LEED reviews as a third-party verifier for GBCI. In addition, she spearheaded the certifications effort for the company headquarters and helped achieve 2-stars Fitwel certification, Materials Petal certification under Living Building Challenge® v4.0, and Just® 2.0 label.

Uma holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from University of Mumbai, India and a Masters in Sustainable Design degree from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. In her personal time, Uma enjoys traveling, hiking, and reading.
