Chris Light is a mechanical engineer with more than a decade of experience designing healthy and low-carbon buildings. He has worked on dozens of aspirationally high-performing projects and specializes in uncomplicated mechanical systems for carbon-free buildings, with a focus on occupant health, well-being, and productivity.

He founded Celeritas Engineering in 2018, envisioning a future where high-functioning high-performance buildings deliver measurable value in the form of better financial returns, improved occupant health and productivity, and dramatically lower carbon emissions.

Chris co-instructed graduate-level courses at Stanford University on advanced energy efficient building design and has spoken at national and local events on high-performance building design and operation. He holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Design and Construction and Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering, both from Stanford University.
