Aubrie Christensen is the Director of Āina & Operations at ‘Iole, a non-profit located on the ‘Iole ahupua’a in North Kohala, on the Island of Hawaii. Aubrie is responsible for all organizational operations, which includes hosting non-profit and educational organizations in ‘Iole’s historic girls school; restoration and maintenance of 2,400 acres of diverse ecosystems; agricultural operations including ranching, organic macadamia nut orchards, and traditional Hawaiian crops; and program development with K-12 and university partners.

Prior to joining ‘Iole, Aubrie worked for ILFI as Manager, Buildings & Water and then as Senior Manager of Innovation. She also has over six years of experience managing the design and construction of public schools and affordable housing, including one of the first LBC Affordable Housing Pilot Projects, Lakeline Station. Aubrie holds a BA in Sustainable Design from The Evergreen State College and a MS in Community & Regional Planning from the University of Texas.
