Matt Van Duinen has built a career around product sustainability. From life cycle assessment to material health, Matt has had a hand in the publication of over 1000 disclosure documents, both as a preparer and a verifier. Additionally, Matt has utilized this extensive experience to help create and update various sustainability standards, currently sitting on the HPDC Technical Committee as well as servicing as the vice-chair of the Materials and Resources Technical Advisory Group (MR TAG) for the LEED green building rating system where he has been instrumental in the LEED v5 update. Prior to Matt’s current role as Sustainability Director at WAP Sustainability, Matt worked as a Product Sustainability Manager at Shaw Industries and an LCA Consultant at PE International (now Sphera).
