Designing for Access & Inclusion: Above & Beyond Building Code (Webinar)
This CEU Webinar, available to Become a Professional Member, is part of a webinar series stemming from our Equity in the Built Environment Initiative.
At Living Future, we believe universal access is an integral component of any regenerative design approach. We recognize that a society that safeguards equal access and fair treatment is the one best-positioned to protect and restore the natural environment that sustains us all.
While today’s building codes provide an important baseline, they often fail to promote the truly universal design that we’re striving for—particularly for people with disabilities. For this month’s Member Webinar, we’re excited to connect you with a panel of experts who bring a wealth of professional experience in addition to personal insight rooted in their lived experience as people with disabilities. They’ll be presenting project examples and design approaches that any project team can use to better address the expressed needs of diverse building users, with a special focus on fundamental practices from the Inclusive Design Standards.
We hope you’ll join us for this opportunity to learn new and better ways to design spaces that are truly for everyone.
