Rachael Meyer

Landscape Architecture Principal and Director of Sustainability, Weber Thompson

(she/her)

Treated stormwater runs in Rachael Meyer’s blood. Leading Weber Thompson’s Landscape Architecture and Sustainability Design teams, she harnesses the passion of others to better our environment. Her portfolio includes roof top decks for high rises, woonerf streetscapes for mid-rise residential projects, as well as sculpture gardens. ULI Americas Awards winning Aurora Bridge Bioswales and McGilvra Place Park, the first Living Park, are just two examples.

Outpacing her Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Washington, Rachael is an accomplished speaker and author voicing her passion for sustainable design and stormwater management. She is the current co-chair of AIA Seattle’s Honor Awards Committee, and has served on boards for NAIOP, the UW Landscape Professional Advisory Committee, Architects without Borders, and the Washington Association of Landscape Architects Executive Board.

When not exploring innovative solutions to treat Puget Sounds’ waterways, Rachael enjoys relaxing with her four daughters, husband, and three endearing rescue dogs.
