Robyn Overall

Science Lead, CJ Arms

(she/her)

Robyn Overall, PhD, lives in Naarm (Melbourne, Australia). She is lead scientist at design firm CJ Arms, where she contributes to ecological masterplanning and advises on whole-of-water-cycle management for a wide range of local and global development projects.

Robyn previously lived for 10 years in the wet-dry tropics of Australia’s Top End. During her time in Darwin, she spent much of her time in an around the creeks and billabongs in the living cultural landscape of Kakadu National Park, working to protect and monitor the adverse effects of mining operations.

Robyn is deeply inspired through her connections with the natural world, and goes mountain biking, hiking, and wild swimming whenever possible.

Her passion for rain and all things water-related probably comes from her having been born in the desert and living in the world’s driest continent.
