Natalie Van Dreal

Manager, Special Projects

(she/her)

Natalie is the Manager of Special Projects at the International Living Future Institute. She provides direct support for clients interested in pursuing ILFI’s certifications at the portfolio level, and supports her team by tracking and managing documentation, helping create compliance pathways, and creating custom resources for project teams.

Natalie received a Master of Design in Sustainable Design from Boston Architectural College (BAC), and a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology prior to that. Her award-winning thesis project at BAC proposed biophilic & regenerative design solutions to enhance the mental and physical wellbeing of students, while reducing violence in existing public schools. She has experience as a sustainability consultant for building product manufacturers, and as a key strategist and impact manager for the Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS). She also brings the unique perspective of someone who has worked in the trades herself. Working in natural building taught her that buildings could positively contribute to the planet’s health, and that was the catalyst for her career trajectory.
