Abby Droese is a Sustainability Certification Analyst for Mohawk Industries, Inc. She manages data collection, conducts audits, and organizes all application and renewal submittals for a variety of sustainability product certifications, including ILFI’s Declare labels and the Living Product Challenge. Abby maintains records of Mohawk’s flooring product formulations, ensuring that products maintain or improve toward Red List Free status. Abby has led Mohawk’s commercial line of nylon fiber carpet tile through recertification to Living Product Challenge Petal Certification, achieving both Net Positive Water and Net Positive Carbon imperatives. She also supports customers pursuing various green building certifications, providing documentation and information on how Mohawk’s products contribute to the Living Building Challenge, LEED, and WELL project certifications.

Abby joined Mohawk after a brief stint in the public sector, where she worked at a local health department as an environmental health practitioner. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a BS in Environmental Health and a Master of Public Health. In her free time, Abby enjoys reading, gardening, and hiking in the North Georgia mountains.
