Dane Lovell is the facilities maintenance superintendent for the Stanley Center for Peace and Security as they work to become the first fully certified living building in the state of Iowa.

Dane graduated from the local community college before starting a career in plumbing., owning and operating his own business for over 25 years. Since deciding to make a career change, Dane has been a maintenance director and technician with two local school districts before taking on the challenge of running a brand new living building.

In his spare time Dane enjoys the outdoors and volunteering for his children’s activities.
